Hi guys,
today was my first day at work.
The beginning was maximum average, because I arrived at the office about 15 minutes too late. Of course, it is never a good thing if you have troubles to make your way to work already at the first day. But nevertheless, I noticed it is not such a big thing as I thought, because the welcome in the office was relaxed and really friendly. We have a young and dynamic team. I would say the oldest employer here is in the middle of 40 years.
I was introduced into business by a young lady, who is also in internship, but will leave Eurosport to Hamburg in about two weeks. Also a free employer showed the main important software in the spectators editorial. They also showed me how to apply on spectator's contact via telephone and so on.
It would be nice of you, if you never ever call the office. We are really annoyed by people who are anrgy about athletes or who think events are manipulated and that stuff. Only god knows why they call us in this case...
I already know the evergreen calls in the office and in most cases the callers convert a really small thing into the apocalypse and a 30-seconds-call into 20 minutes.
My main task today has been replying on spectator emails, you cannot imagine how "interesting" versions of the German language do exist (caution: IRONY!).
Finally, I signed in for the bet placing in our office for the upcoming football (for the Americans among you: soccer) World Cup. Let's see how my knowledge in that sport influences on my bank account.
My work day ended at 6 p.m. with a talk with two colleagues in the elevetor and the statement "Bielefeld is not a beautiful city". In contrast to these guys, I do not know each of their names, but that will not be a problem anymore soon.
I am sure everything will be somehow easier tomorrow. As a personal benefit, I ordered myself a pizza prosciutto (ham) at Francesco's. And yes: it has been as delightful as it sounds.
Have a nice evening!
